Electricity Genaration through Bio-waste and Solar: An Alternate Way to Mitigate the Electricity Demand for Individual Owner House in Remote Areas of Bangladesh[ ]

Electricity is the main reason behind the evaluation of human civilization. Modern social systems are goodly dependent on electricity. But for the population growth, electricity generation cost, and limited resource are the cause of ‘power crisis’, commonly known term in recent days. In view of Bangladesh, to meet this electricity demand of this vast population is not possible only for the government. As the electricity is generated through in it’s conventional rule andits maintenance, transmission, distribution is costly, most of the rural areas are deprived of electricity. In this countrified areas own initiative power generation can be the possible way to meet their daily electricity demand.

The Importance of VLANs and Trunk Links in Network Communication Areas[ ]

In this paper a new modern network design based on VLAN implementation was presented. The network was separated in to different VLANs to represent the performance of three departments in a university building. In addition, the paper discusses the impact of VLAN implementation on network performance and shows the security satisfaction approach in any filed. Furthermore, three different VLAN types identified by default, native, and management VLANs were presented. The results of the packet tracer software confirms that network separation based on VLAN methodology isolates the broadcast traffics of the devices regardless their existence in the same region with different network classification, even though all the devices of the regions can share the same cable and switch. As a final result, the creation of VLANs is important for data and traffic management in order to keep the broadcast frequency valid as long as the LAN increases and more network devices are added.

From Chomsky on: an Analysis of Skinner & Chomsky Intersections[ ]

Skinner and Chomsky were both prominent figures of scientific and linguistic research during the second half of the last century. The criticism of the latter over the former meant a shift in the way both science and linguistics were to be researched from then on. However, there seem to be inconsistencies between this criticism and the way some words are used years later. From this point on, we try to question the whole path of modern linguistics and conceive a deeper way to see common words. However, the aim is not to go back to behavior-based approaches but to go one step further, from Chomsky on, hopefully.

A Survey on Reliable Path Discovery in MANET[ ]

MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc Network) is a self-configuring, infrastructure-less, distributed and wirelessly connected network of mobile devices that can arbitrarily change their geographic locations such that these networks have dynamic topologies, which are composed of bandwidth, constrained wireless links. One of the major challenges in MANET is link failure during communication due to a mobility of nodes, residual energy of nodes, and lifetime of the link. This paper gives a general survey of different existing techniques to address this challenge and contribution to solving this problem. In this paper, we present a technique of Link stability by discovering the most reliable path for communication in MANET. For Stable Path Selection, our technique uses a combination of AODV (Reactive routing protocol for Local Link Repair) with Coordinate-based routing protocol and Received signal strength of node. In this survey, we present a comparison of various existing mechanisms and provide the best way to improve the link stability lifetime, delivery ratio, efficiency, and diminish end-to-end delay in high mobility cases.

Exploring Congestion Control Mechanism of TCP Variants over Wired & Wireless Networks[ ]

A reliable end to end communication is a buzzword that is promised by the transport layer protocol TCP. TCP, a Reliable transport protocols are tuned to perform well in different networks but, packet losses occur mostly because of congestion. TCP contains several mechanisms (such as slow start, congestion avoidance, fast retransmit and fast recovery) for ensuring reliability. However, it has reached its limitation in some challenging network environments like-High speed communication, Communication over different media. Thus, it requires further analysis and development of congestion control algorithms. In this paper, we have explored the reliability and robustness of TCP variants (Tahoe, Reno, New-Reno, SACK, FACK and TCP VEGAS, HSTCP, CUBIC TCP) based on different parameters such as throughput, end-to-delay, jitter and packet drop ratio over wired and wireless networks. We have also compared and discussed different congestion control and avoidance mechanisms of TCP variants to show how they affect the throughput and efficiency of different network environments.

Development of novel jute based composite material for radiation shielding applications[ ]

Polymer composites have become attractive candidates for developing materials that can be designed to effectively attenuate photon or particle radiation. In this work, polymer composites reinforced with easily available materials have been developed for their use in radiation shielding applications. Sample 1 has a density of 13.412 g/cm3 with 2.605 mm thickness containing polyethylene, boric acid, lead and jute. Sample 2 with a density of 2.997 g/cm3 and 3.875 mm thickness was developed adding silica with sample 1. For the first sample, boric acid and polyethylene was mixed together. Lead sheets were used as outer layers with jute slice in the middle. For the second sample, silica was added with the boundary material of previous sample.Heat press was employed for developing the composite as it provides great control and consistency of temperature, pressure and timing. Finally, Monte Carlo Particle code was utilized for testing the shielding materials.

Consumer preference on the meat of local male duck fed with additives liquid turmeric filrate-loaded nanocapsule in ration[ ]

Consumer preference for duck meat product should be the primary consideration in production. The study aimed to investigate the effect of additional liquid turmeric filtrate (LTFN) as the phytobiotic in ration on consumer preference. The study was conducted in one-way completely randomized design. Sixty-three local male ducks aged 6-10 weeks were allotted to seven treatments, each with three repetitions to four ducks. The formulation of addition NKFCs was as follows: negative control / basal ration (BR) + LTFN 0% (P1), BR + LTFN 1% (P2), BR + LTFN 2% (P3), BR + LTFN 3% (P4), BR + LTFN 4% (P5), dan BR + LTFN 5% (P6), BR + LTFN 6% (P7). The variables of preference / organoleptic properties included color, aroma, texture, tenderness, flavor and palatability. The result of the study showed that the additional LTFN significantly affected (P<0.05) all the preference variables but did not significantly affected (P>0.05) the aroma of local male duck meat. In conclusion, 0-3% of LTFN in ration was the optimum dose to produce the quality duck meat preferred by the consumers.
