With the advent of technology, life becomes more imperative and lean towards more effective learning. Teaching and
learning is a continuous and life long process .with implementation of ICT enabled services in the teaching and learning
process in our institutions sooner or later we will in the front line of the globe for effective and skillful learning. We
believe in excellence in education through constant evolution and continuous innovations in the teaching –learning
process. World is changing and evolving fast, during the 21st
century changes in the ICT sector have been
unprecedented. one have to pace with need of modern society and its changing face.The main aim for deploying the
ICT is to empower children and teachers to matchup to the demand of the modern society.
By implementation of ICT supported learning in class rooms, younger scholars are introduced to a realm of
opportunities, wherein they can explore and study. We must believe and act from traditional chalk and talk methods.
Which will prepare and provide the winning edge to both our children and teachers? Furthermore it saves times as
technology aided classrooms provide quick solutions, simulated lectures, question bank on variety of topics. All of our
children and teachers are tech savvy and comfortable in meeting the challenges of outside world. By implementing the

Thoughts on Engineering Education and Offered Programs

The profession of engineering is essential for the development of any region, country or society worldwide.
Engineering has played an important role in human kind progress and prosperity for the last couple of centuries.
It is therefore necessary to update engineering education and programs to cope with emerging technologies and
innovations.
In order to offer efficient and competitive engineering programs, the following thoughts and observations are
highlighted for academics and educational policy makers.

Though 1: Programs Credit Hours

Are we degrading the engineering profession by reducing number of credit hours, deleting courses; even basic
engineering and science courses, eliminating courses accompanied lab works and merging two or more courses’
contents. Many regional universities and worldwide are following this policy in order to compete in students
enrolment and intake.

Being a part of the Editorial Board member of this journal I welcome you all and thankful for submitting your valuable
research works. Knowing your own interest is not an easy goal to achieve with perfection though. But, one should
develop keen interest in studying the effects and applications of engineering and science in their researches. Any
person’s mind is like a closed pot when it is not exposed to outside world. So this journal is a very good platform to make
your work, ideas and innovations to get presented at universal level.

It is an amazing tool to explore your potential. During education one gets exposure and assistance to drive out its way.
New and brighter ideas pop in their minds, which can make the knowledge base bigger. After grasping the most out of it,
a trained researcher could start work with relevant knowledge which would help him during the rest of research. The
richness of journal is the most important factor. Richness means the quality of previously published papers of the journal
and the number of citations to papers of the journal. Other factors such as the way the journal reviews the papers and
which academies and institutions index journal papers would be considered too. Young researchers should be keen to
learn to new things and read about them with full interest. They should read novel and new manuscripts published in
reputes journals and presented in conferences to keep themselves informed about current / latest researches in the
field of bioinformatics. They should also try to access good datasets because the dataset you are starting your work with,
probably will be the dataset you chose to continue to work on because at that time you would have become familiar
with it.

It’s no secret that power is emerging as the most critical issues in system-on-chip (SoC) design today. Power management is becoming an increasingly urgent problem for almost every category of design, as power density-measured in watts per square millimeter-rises at an alarming rate.
Moving a design from an old technology to a newer one, with smaller design rules, has always been, up to now, an interesting way to lower the power consumption. Indeed, the overall parasitic capacitances are decreased, the available active current per device is higher, and, consequently, the same performance can be achieved with a lower supply voltage. Moving to a new technology generation, however, induces a scale down of the power supply voltage (VDD), the threshold voltage (VT), and the gate oxide thickness (TOX). Beginning with the 0.18μm technologies, it appeared that building a transistor with a good active current (ION) and a low leakage current (IOFF) was becoming more difficult. Since the advent of CMOS technology, an increased number of transistors per die and greater performance have been the primary driving factors for the semiconductor industry and process technology. The ability to integrate more transistors per die allowed chip manufacturers to put more components of a system into a single package and thus reduce not only just the sizes of the electronic devices we use today but also the cost and delay. The intense competition in the semiconductor industry has forced chip manufacturers pursue these great goals.
However, the increase in the number of devices due to the increase in device density has more than compensated for the decrease in the parasitic capacitance of a single device. In addition to shortened battery life for portable electronics, higher power consumption results in aggravated on-chip temperatures, which can result

in a reduced operating life for the IC. For portable electronics, longer battery life is the most important design constraint.

Alternative of Broadband Internet Connection

Suppose you want a broadband internet connection but you are operating it in a county with more cows than
people, and DSL and cable simply aren’t available? Having access to fast broadband is important for both
individuals and businesses. If you are in a rural area, it is unlikely that you will have access to cable broadband.
Wireless Mesh Networks have become popular and are used everywhere as an alternative to broadband
connections. The ease of configuration of wireless mesh LAN, the mobility of clients, and the large coverage
make it attractive choice for supporting wireless technology in LAN and MAN. The most recent report from the
Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development ranks the U.S. 12th in total broadband penetration.
“There are a slew of technologies out there, but it looks like fixed wireless has taken forefront, [with] satellite
service being a good alternative in some areas,” Scott Lindsay, head of the Rural Broadband Coalition in
Washington said.
Wireless mess technology, an end-to-end solution specifically designed for service providers deploying wireless
community services for cities, has the flexibility and capacity required to deliver many different applications to
millions of users across an entire city. ISPs can offer many different services on their network. The types of
services offered depend on the competitive environment and the business needs of the service provider. A local
cable company could use a community Wi-Fi network as a mobility enhancement for their residential
broadband service. ISPs that provide dial-up service may move to Wi-Fi as a way to own a broadband
connection to their customers. Rural telephone companies could operate Wi-Fi networks as their primary
infrastructure for reaching their customers.

Increasing Diversity bringing sublime changes in Engineering
Pedagogy

Scientists and engineers with diverse backgrounds, interests, and cultures can produce better scientific and
technological results, as well as ensure the best uses of varied technologies & to obtain those results.

Earlier, the National Science Foundation (NSF) reported some positive news in its 1998 report on Women,
Minorities and Persons with Disabilities in Science and Engineering (1999):
 In last two decades the world had seen drastic changes & advancements in the engineering domain
pertaining to various diversities.
 The number of students enrolled and earning undergraduate science and engineering degrees continues
to increase.
 Between 1982 and 1994, the percentage of students taking basic and advanced math courses doubled.
In the U.S. and abroad, calls abound for attracting students to engineering in high school, for providing
incentives to students to complete their engineering degrees, and for increasing funding for engineering
programs. Why? The argument is simple: we face unprecedented global challenges and opportunities, from the
need for clean water and clean energy to fighting cyber terrorism. These challenges demand new ideas, and one
obvious approach is simply to increase volume. After all:
More engineers = More innovation
In some sense, this equation is hard to dispute. But it misses an equally powerful possibility:
More diverse engineers = More innovation
In other words, responding to the economic, social and environmental challenges of the coming century will
take more than increased number of engineers. It will require a more diverse population of engineers which will
pertain a dedicated & logical approach to the upcoming challenges.
Diverse perspectives are critical for addressing the multi-disciplinary, global problems we face. Furthermore,
research shows that diverse teams are more creative and more effective. If we want to adequately address the International Journal of Advancements in Research & Technology

world’s problems, we need to have a more diverse set of people pursuing engineering. So perhaps it’s time to
rethink what we mean by diversity.
Diversity is important, and so is a renewed commitment to career and technical education programs at the
secondary and post-secondary level. This has been shown to not only improve student achievement but also
help bridge emerging economic skills gaps.

One of the aims of this journal is to report Analytic numbers theory and its applications where the essentiality of the
Analytic numbers theory, q-series and q-analysis and sructure between engineering mathematics are highlighted. This
journal will accept high quality papers containing original research results and survey articles of exceptional good
qualities which deserve praise. Continuing to publish as an international journal, all articles published in the IJSER will be
freely available for anyone to view as before. The existing coverage in the indexing and abstracting services will also
continue continuously. All manuscripts submitted to International Journal of Scientific and Engineering Research will be
subjected to a quick and impartial closed peer-review process. The Editorial Boards will initially examine the manuscripts

challenges to target in the future and the future is bright as well as thought provoking. Man’s vision is wide,
versatile and proven. A scientist’s vision in the same manner is immense and far-reaching. The question of
ground –breaking validities of scientific visions and scientific inventions comes into the mind of the common
people. The space age led to the ushering in of nuclear age and that laid the foundation to the innovative internet
era. Thus , today in this critical juncture , the questions which arises are the mind boggling issues of human
benefits of today’s scientific inventions. The progress of science and technology is vast and rapid. The fruits are
ever –reaching and surpassing visionary frontiers.
Innovation, ideas and the future path to progress:
The progress of science and technology in the twentieth and twenty first century is ground breaking and far
reaching. Man’s scientific zeal and the urge for knowledge is boundless. The fruits and gifts of science and
technology will only be successful if only validation is achieved thus reaching the common mass. The
