Aarogya-An Intelligent Multi-Agent Paediatric System[ ]


Paediatric healthcare structure in India is largely concentrated in the urban areas leading to lack of expert, affordable and accessible healthcare for the rural children. The existing healthcare softwares either are not readily available to the rural population or is fragmented leading to lack of coordination between the expert doctors and the patients. The proposed system Aarogya uses the JADE platform to implement artificially intelligent multi agent paediatric healthcare system which overcomes the problems faced currently making communication between a paediatrician and the patient not only effective but also reliable. The system works on two platforms namely the doctor platform and the user platform communicating via the Internet. The user uses a cell phone to answer a set of adaptive questions which are translated by an agent to the corresponding symptoms and are further mapped to the ailment using ontology. The treatment of the ailment is retrieved from the doctor’s database and provided to the user. Aarogya also provides a scheduler agent to schedule appointment with the doctor in case of an emergency.

Performance Testing on Diesel Engine Using Diesel & Biodiesel[ ]


Growing concern regarding energy resources and the environment has increased interest in the study of alternative sources of energy. To meet increasing energy requirements, there has been growing interest in alternative fuels like biodiesel to provide a suitable diesel oil substitute for internal combustion engines. It is a promising substitute as an alternative fuel and has gained significant attention due to the predicted shortness of conventional fuels and environmental concern. The utilization of liquid fuels such as biodiesel produced from non-edible seeds like Jatropha & Karanja by transesterification process represents one of the most promising options for the use of conventional fossil fuels .In this study biodiesel has been produced by the well known transesterification process This paper also investigated the performance and emission characteristics of dual biodiesel blends (mixture of Jatropha biodiesel and karanja biodiesel) with diesel on a stationary double cylinder, four stroke direct injection compression ignition engine.

Comparative Study Of Preventive Algorithms Of Ddos Attack[ ]


Threats of distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks have been increasing day-by-day due to rapid development of computer networks and associated infrastructure, and millions of software applications. In this type of attack, multiple systems attack a single target simultaneously, to consume the resources within very less time and thereby shut down the system. DDoS flooding attacks are typically explicit attempts to disrupt legitimate users’ access to services. The growing frequency, increasing sophistication, and growing seriousness of DDoS attacks have made defending against them quite a challenge. Because there’s no complete defence against such an attack but a practical defense includes prevention strategies. This paper presents a comprehensive overview of DDoS attacks, types of DDos attacks, attacks on various OSI levels. lso the algorithms for DDos prevention like cracking algorithm and hop count filtration are described and their comparative analysis is made.

Detection of Diseases in Human Eye[ ]


The blindness is caused by various diseases .Out of them the Diabetes retinopathy is a diseases occurred and most commonly seen in diabetes patients. It is caused by change in blood vessel of the retina. The eyes start affecting slowly and damage the visibility and lead to blindness. The symptoms is blur vision and swelling from the blood vessels. The detection of diabetes retinopathy must be done at earlier stage, so that precaution is taken immediately. For that we have proposed the computer based analysis of diabetes retinopathy by taking the fundus images of human eye and the features of eye is captured from raw images and then the image processing techniques is applied based on various algorithm the important region are pre - processed. After this the processed images is fed to the SVM machine it helped to categorized the diseases based on it classification is done There are three stages normal, proliferative and Non proliferative and diabetes retinopathy. In this way the detection is carried out.

Gender Detection from the Human Skull on the Basis of Frontal Bone[ ]


The need of determining gender of a human turn up regularly in the field of forensics. Due to the huge technological advancements in forensics as well as healthcare determining the gender is easy with XRays, Computed Tomography (CT) scan, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) etc. However conclusions are drawn based upon the prediction made by doctors manually. However a second opinion from a computerized system will be advantageous. Determination of gender can be concluded based upon many factors like shapeof the forehead, wrist bone, shape of chin etc. However, determination based upon the shape of the frontal bone has been used in forensics from a long time. The major challenge is to effectively excerpt, evaluate and understand the information from the image by using proper techniques and then interpreting the esults by making effective use of the various image processing tools.

Moletronics or more precisely molecular electronics is the application of molecular building blocks for IC fabrication of electronic components. Parallel Computing with ParaComputeD Server[ ]


The purpose of this project is to reduce the time required for processing and execution of a program by developing a framework that will basically delegate the work to various servers best suited for that particular task. We propose a framework that will reduce the processing time basically by the principle of parallel computing by using the concept of “Job Delegation”. This framework is basically a job delegation server which will delegate the work to available node/workers. This allows for non-blocking parallel processing.

Portable Cloud[ ]


Most of the times a central server is very much expensive and has enormous requirements in terms of electric power consumption, cooling and space. The introduction of the Raspberry Pi, a low-cost, low-power single-board computer, has made the construction of a miniature Cloud Data Center more affordable. The Portable Cloud based on Raspberry pi 2 will be a single-board computing based server which will enable user to create plug and play cloud in any given network. Portable Cloud will act as server to the web application “OwnCloud”. This application deals with keeping record of the personal files of any given user.

This paper presents the working and functions of SkyLoader project. SkyLoader is a cloud based application service comprised of a Public cloud which can be accessed over a Desktop computer or an Android running device. In today’s world where everyone has so much information to consume, remember and recall, it is possible to forget something or another, but what if it’s an important Document required at an even more important place then it may lead to some serious problem. SkyLoader project will assist the clients to access personal Documents from anywhere at any time.

Zigbee Based Smart Street Lighting System[ ]


Street light, a source of light that is commonly used along streets when the surrounding turns dark. In recent years various street lighting control systems technology have been developed to control and maintain streets light. However, most of the developed system has some drawbacks. Due to lack of communication capabilities, no system feedback so the system is considered to be outdated. To ensure a higher efficiency and overcome current drawbacks Zigbee communication technology is deployed. The system will be able to detect fault and inform the control room about it.
