Genetic algorithm in Vehicle Routing Problem[ ]

Distribution management revolves around the vehicle routing problem. This is under the consideration of several organizations and companies to collect or deliver people or goods due to implications and problems faced by them. This is due to the situation, which are not the same in different places. All places have their own conditions and due to this, the constraints and objectives under consideration are strongly variable. Most of software development and algorithmic research that is done on this area are limited to prototype problems. Through developing of flexible systems this can be implemented and test on different context.

Effect of Processing Method And Fermentation On The Antinutritional Factors/Phytochemical Contents of African Oil Bean Seed[ ]

Samples of raw African oil bean seed were collected and screened for the presence of some ant nutritional factors ( phytochemicals). Samples of the oil bean seed at different stages of fermentation were also screened for these anti-nutritional factors. Quantitative analysis for these phytochemicals was carried out on the samples that tested positive during the qualitative assay. Effect of soaking and washing of the seed before fermentation on these toxic factors/phytochemicals was also determined. The qualitative analysis for these phytochemicals showed the presence of tannins, saponins, alkaloids, steroids, glycosides, flavonoids and phytate. Soaking the seed overnight and washing in water before fermentation had a significant effect on all the phytochemicals/anti-nutritional factors identified, Tannin was reduced from 12.58 3. 65 mg/100g, saponin from 52.00 22.00 mg/100g, phytate from 25.63 14.47 mg/100g, glycosides from 34.76 11.33 mg/100g, alkaloids from 2.52 0.14 mg/100g, flavonoids from 4.66 2.49 mg/100g and steroids from 26.48 - 5.43 mg/100g. Fermentation further reduced drastically the content of these substances in the samples. Alkaloids and tannins were completely removed from the samples after 24hr and 48hr of fermentation respectively.

Mechanical properties of spray-atomized Fe-40at.%Al alloys[ ]

The room-temperature mechanical properties of intermetallic Fe-40at.% Al based alloys fabricated by spray atomization and deposition are studied. The Fe-40at.%Al, Fe-40Al+0.1at.%B, and Fe-40Al+0.1at.%B+10at.%Al2O3, alloys were deformed by compression under strain rates from 10-4 to 10-2 s-1. All three alloys diminished their yield stress in the interval of strain rates of 10-4-10-3 s-1 but in the interval of 10-3-10-2 s-1 , the Fe-40at.%Al and Fe-40Al+0.1at.%B alloys increased their yield stress. Contrary to the two last alloys the Fe-40Al+0.1at.%B+10at.%Al2O3 alloy shows a decrease on the yield stress in the interval of the 10-3-10-2 s-1. The yield stress is discussed in terms of the effect of the boron and alumina particles.

An analysis of Security Attacks found in Mobile Ad-hoc Network[ ]

MANETs has become an important technology in recent years because of the rapid proliferation of wireless devices. MANETs are highly vulnerable to attacks due to the open access medium, dynamically changing network topology and lack of centralized monitoring point. The various attacks against mobile nodes are flooding, black hole, warm hole, packet dropping and Byzantine attack as well as Collaborative attacks i.e. human attackers or criminal organizations etc. In this research paper, we study the Vulnerabilities of MANETs and address different types of attacks against MANETs. Finally, we have addressed the future research direction.

Detection Of Moving Object On Any Terrain By Using Image Processing Techniques[ ]

Detection of moving object in during day light has been an active research areas and variety of well established algorithms have been proposed. However, the detection moving objects during night time has not yet received equal attention as the detection during the day time. There can be two important reasons for this. Firstly, because of the absent of light, the object does not appear to be visible and hence the camera or capturing device used for the day light would not able to capture this object during night time. Secondly, the method proposed during day light does not work during night time since the surrounding situation is different. During night time, moving vehicle for example will have its lights on that will enlighten its surrounding. This bright area will also change as the vehicle moves and as a result this will affect the image differencing operation. To avoid this false moving object, different approach has to be developed. A technique that this project will look at is to consider only dense bright regions that correspond to the vehicles lights only. Depending on the angle of the camera, the distance between lights of the car will maintain so as for other vehicles. In addition, different distance value can be used to classify the type of moving vehicle i.e. either its a car, lorry, or motorcycle. As such, this project will a software-based project. A video sequence captured from infrared sensitive camera for night vision application will be utilized.

Investigation of transcendent awareness and expansion of consciousness as components of spiritual intelligence in staff performance (case study: National Library and Archives Organization of Iran (NLAI))[ ]

Relevant studies of spirituality have been integrated to concept of "intelligence" tightly and investigation and research in this domain is challenging. Hence, many contemporary theorists define intelligence in domain of spirituality. Although the term "intelligence" is apparently a well-known concept, in fact such knowledge is still unknown for many individuals. This would indicate complexity of human and his/her mind and intelligence. The main objective of the present study is investigation of transcendent awareness and expansion of consciousness as components of spiritual intelligence in staff performance. Case study would be conducted on National Library and Archives Organization of Iran (NLAI)
