Sintering and Reduction of pellets of El-Baharia iron ore with Dolomite by Hydrogen [ READ ]

This paper studied the effect of dolomite addition to iron oxide raw material on the physicochemical properties of its green and indurate pellets form. Also the effect of this addition on the degree of reduction was studied. The results indicated that the addition of dolomite decrease the mechanical strength of the green and indurate pellets Also the reduction of these pellets by hydrogen was studied and the model of reduction was put in this paper.
